Ethiopian Book Structure
The Ethiopian Book Structure is based on the historic binding that has been made in Ethiopia since the 4th century. The book
features hardwood covers with holes drilled to attach interior pages, and a pair of threads sewn in a “link” pattern. Students will learn the background of this book, how to sand boards, drill holes, and sew books.
