Exploring Feminine Expression through Self Portraiture

What does femininity mean to you? How do you express it? Where do you get your ideas about what is or isn’t feminine? Let’s use mythology, superheroes and and cultural icons to explore our understanding and personal expression of femininity together. This three day course will include lecture, discussion and creative development. We will close the course by dressing ourselves and expressing ourselves joyfully feminine. Each participant will leave with a Polaroid snapshot of themselves expressing their feminine side. No photographic experience necessary. Materials provided. All ages, genders and skill levels welcome. Students are welcome to bring in their own cameras to use as well.
