Printing Workshop with Eric Kunsman
B&W Digital Printing 9am-Noon
The first half of this one-day workshop will teach you the different controls and options for creating B&W prints that rival the quality of silver gelatin prints using Epson Ultrachrome ink technologies. Participants should bring files that are ready for printing. Topics will also include various methods for controlling aesthetic print quality. Techniques covered are similar to those applied in the darkroom, such as but not limited to dodging & burning, contrast control, and tonal control.

Eric Kunsman’s exhibit of photographs documenting the Eastern State Penitentiary, Thou Art... Will Give..., will be open at the Flower City Arts Center September 13–October 26, 2019, with an opening reception on Friday, September 20, 6–9pm.
