Reluctant Love: A Visual Love Letter of Healing

2017 Photography Artist-in-Residence and Filmmaker, Nicholle La Vann will host a screening & discussion of her progress with her ongoing new film "Reluctant Love: A Visual Love Letter of Healing" on Saturday, May 27th at 6pm. The accompanying exhibition, Reluctant Love, will be on display through Saturday, June 3rd. 

This is the inspiring story of the filmmaker, Nicholle La Vann who is a survivor of violence and a mother to a child of rape. One woman’s journey as she shares her feelings of her pregnancy, the birth, and the struggle she had with her daughter. Visual journey of transformation and heals she inspires others to heal as well.
