Nick LaTona

2018 Printmaking & Book Arts Resident

So my name is Nick LaTona and I have been working with paper and books in the past few years. I attended school at SUNY Fredonia where I received my BFA in Sculpture. I originally attended school there for Ceramics and about two years into the programs I shifted gears towards Sculpture. It wasn’t until my last year at school when I found how fascinated and drawn I was to books and paper. In the past 3 years, my work has been primarily with paper installations and books! A lot of my work is inspired by medical experiences from self, family, friends and from working in the medical field in the last 2 in a half years.
