I have always loved painting, and I especially like making small objects thoroughly decorated with rich surfaces. Sometimes I get lost in pure pattern, other times I discover an evocative narrative. In any case, I obsessively dive into the surface of everything I make to discover its story. It is especially satisfying when someone connects intimately with my work, weaving the narrative I have begun, with a personal and meaningful archive of his or her own.
