Documentary Photography for Teens (Ages 14-17) image
Flower City Arts Center and George Eastman Museum team up to bring you Documentary Photography for Teens. This week-long workshop will teach students how to use a 35 mm film camera (including f-stops, shutter speeds, ISO, and proper exposure) and how to make their own black and white prints in a darkroom. Students will have the unique experience of meeting renowned photographer Eugene Richards for an exclusive tour of his exhibition The Run-On of Time. An online gallery of students' work will be created at the completion of the workshop. Included: camera rental, b&w film and paper, and field-trip to George Eastman Museum. Required: students must bring their own lunch. Snacks provided. This week-long experience is presented in partnership with George Eastman Museum. Additional scholarships are available for this workshop.
