Spring Break: Storytelling Slip and Score (Ages 5-8) for kids

CANCELLED In this class, kids ages 5-8 will explore some of their favorite books and use clay to make creative sculptures that engage with the story. Does your child love stories about gardening? We can make a flower pot! Comic book fan? Let's sculpt a superhero! Maybe they would like to write and sculpt a story of their own. Kids will strengthen fine motor skills and build confidence in letter and sight-word recognition at the same time. It will be a fun mash-up of reading and making art! Kids are welcome to bring their own favorite book to share and we'll share some too!
