The Natural Landscape

The Natural Landscape image
Learn the fundamentals of landscape photography utilizing composition, light, and techniques to maximize the impact of an image. This class will cover lens filters, creative composition, quality of light, hyperfocal distance, creative techniques, weather conditions, safety, helpful phone apps, and location scouting.

Two separate field trips will be taken on weekends to capture early morning or evening light and evening classes will be held to discuss techniques, go over work, and approaching the shooting location. A tripod and wide angle lens (10mm to 15mm minimum for cropped sensors, 17mm to 24mm minimum for full frame sensors or film cameras; a wide-angle zoom lens is perfect) is highly recommended and working knowledge of your SLR or DSLR is required.
