Ceramic Traditions, Contemporary Objects at the Firehouse Gallery at Genesee Pottery.

The History in the Making exhibit showcases ceramic work from youthful, energetic, promising artists to veteran traditionalists. All see potential in the connection between historic and contemporary ideas. They believe form, color, and surface can be simultaneously fresh and time-honored, leading to an exciting body of work as a whole.

Juried by Jean Schallenbarger, Associate Professor at School for the American Craft. This show attracts ceramicists from all across the country.
